So I’ve been going through some rough spots here lately in the scheme of life, but I think today has had a new outlook for me. I’ve started to realize in my own way how amazing and blessed it is to be a part of something this great of caliber. That is music. The people who are involved with our music and who truly appreciate and love it, are by far some of the greatest people I’ve ever met. Not too long ago me and Josh were sitting in Studio A just playing the piano, and I had an epiphany. We’ve come a long way from what we were accustomed to. And for that I am extremely thankful. Wheels have been put into motion that I can not stop, and that is a real good thing. I don’t know what the future holds for me, but at least for right now, I couldn’t be happier. Recently I’ve talked to someone who I care for very much, and what they told me was very real. I won’t go into details, but it makes me really appreciate who I am and what I do, especially as a musician. To everyone who’s involved with us, and will be in the future, None of this wouldn’t be possible without you. My undying respect and love for you all. Thanks, and let’s keep this going…

i need to do more, for everyone including myself, so for starters im writing this blog. The sun sure feels good today but there is somthing missing and i dont think its in the weather. Its my work for and to the world. I have sat down for so long its hard to tell im sittin. My butt is numb and my hands are soft(does that make sense to anyone?). So i wish everyone goodluck and good spirits(the non-alchoholic kind) in living today for what makes you happy whether that be playin a guitar or sharing a swirl stick. As for me im on my own but i can do it its a matter of loving myself(p.s. one of the hardest things for me to do).
Star & Micey is on the forever hunt for the inevitable drummer. We will be hosting auditions at Ardent Studios sunday April 19th at 1pm, 5pm, and 9pm. If you are a drummer and are interested, please send an email to miceydrummer@gmail.com. We are looking for a permanent drummer who wants to be a part of a real good thing. From there we will send you an mp3 of one of our songs to learn. We will provide a drum kit so you need not to worry about bringing gear, for the exception of sticks. We are looking forward to the auditions and we hope to find what we are looking for. Good luck and see you on the 12th!
Recently Nick Redmond, who has a history of imaginative and wild story telling, began to spin a yarn so grand that it could not be taken lightly as many of his embellished fairy tales are. While I cannot comment on it’s content or ultimate plot, I can tell you that it may be one of the greatest stories ever told. There are plans being put into place as we speak that will bring this epic adventure to life. Also toward the end of this month, Star & Micey will pick up shop and head down to south Louisiana for a few days, several shows are in the works as well as a full day of recording at Dockside Studios!! Lastly kind ladies and gentlemen, stay tuned for “Unsolved Business – Baressi Crew” and the debut of stolen footage from a Dave Cousar sighting in broad daylight!!!!!! until then….swirl’ on
